"little teilor as snow white" is a painting of my godsister when she was little dressed up as Snow White for Halloween.
This painting was dedicated to her after she passed away and was a gift for my godmother, who is her mother. She was
a very special person in my life and I wanted to cherish her and show my eternal love for her and her mother by creating
this piece.

"Self Portrait as Old Hollywood Actress" is a self portrait I painted during my painting class last year. I thought it would
be fun to paint different versions of myself whenever I do a self portrait, or a portrait of someone else. I chose to paint
myself as an actress from the 40s-60s. Marilyn Monroe is my favorite actress from that time period, so I transformed
myself into her.

"The Ointment of Goldie Magdalene of Bethany" is a cute little cherub I found on Instagram that I named Goldie, and
I wanted to add him to my artwork. I transformed him into a female biblical figure and created a more feminine version of
himself. During this time, I had written an essay on Mary Magdalene/Mary of Bethany for my Art & Bible in Middle Ages
class and decided to do an art piece related to that.
*Goldie's pronouns are He/She/They*

"self portrait final, 2021" is a drawing final I completed during my drawing class of the Spring quarter. We were instructed
to draw ourselves from at least the waist up, showing at least one of our hands, and have an interesting background. I drew
myself in somewhat of a cartoon form instead of the conventional realistic format of self portraiture, but still somewhat sticking
to the conventional format by drawing a lot of detail.
